Hey, I'm Megan.
I’ve been photographing ever since I was about 8 years old. No joke, the other day my family found a photo my great grandma had developed and saved that I took out on her farm. So you could say photography runs through my blood!
While going through school I loved taking art classes and even took some photo classes at the skill center. I joined yearbook during high school and, when senior year came around, I bought my first camera and started taking senior photos for my friends and discovered that I adored taking photos of people. Catching them laugh and being genuine were always my favorite part. Once college started, I knew right away I wanted to get a degree in Photography. I learned tons in school and I'm still learning everyday and I couldn't be happier.
The reason I chose to be a portrait photographer is because I love meeting new people, hearing their stories and getting to photograph their BEAUTY. I enjoy having fun, joking around, and not being too serious (unless you want serious photos!). My favorite portraits are always the candid photos. I’m always trying to get the best smiles (show off those double chins if you got them) and laughs so you can see how amazing you are. So I definitely encourage to you bring your best friend/partner/parent along, and we can even include some photos of you two together!
I’m so excited to meet and hangout with you, your family or whomever you want photos with. Let's make some art! Also, I'm from the PNW but about year ago I moved to Oklahoma which is very big difference, with that being said I travel a lot so wherever you live don't be afraid to reach out!
